Swing Check Valves By Construction

SQK Bolted Bonnet Swing Valves are full ported, designed for fast check valve action and maximum service life.

SQK Pressure Seal Cover Swing Check Valve are suitable for service in horizontal line with cap vertical or in a vertical line with flow upward.

SQK Welded Cover Swing Check Valve are not shut-off valves. The body is made of forged material. The disc is inserted into the valve body through the pressure seal cover joint or through the self-sealing body-cover joint. The seat ring is welded in the body and its seating surface and disc surface of the disc are hard faced.

SQK Swing Type Check Valve iSwing check valves have a hinged disc which swings into position, and can operate in either horizontal or vertical (upward flow) positions. Movement through the line automatically swings the disc open to allow full flow, so swing check valves must be installed with normal flow opening the disc.
